Nourishing Your Ministry, Strengthening Our Community

“In this house, all must be friends, all must be loved, all must be held dear, all must be helped.” — St. Teresa of Ávila

At the Carmelite Spirituality Network, we believe that excellence in ministry is cultivated through ongoing formation, peer support, and shared wisdom. Our events calendar offers a rhythm of learning, reflection, and community that sustains spirituality practitioners throughout the year.

Whether you are seeking to deepen your competence through our Enriching Ministry Days, longing for spiritual renewal through our seasonal retreats, or looking to connect with fellow practitioners through our Community Offerings, you will find a welcoming space shaped by the Carmelite values of contemplation, friendship, and mutual support.

Find What Nourishes Your Ministry

Our calendar features three types of offerings:

Enriching Ministry Days (EMDs) Quarterly gatherings featuring expert speakers on topics essential to soul care ministry—safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, ethics, and the spiritual foundations of accompaniment. Each EMD includes a keynote presentation followed by interactive workshops designed to strengthen your practice.

Seasonal Retreats Lenten and Advent retreat days offering members dedicated time for personal renewal, contemplative prayer, and spiritual refreshment in the company of fellow practitioners.

Community Offerings Throughout the year, CSN members share their gifts with the wider community through a rich variety of programmes—Lectio Divina sessions, book clubs, reading circles, Bible study groups, prayer gatherings, and more. These offerings reflect the creativity and charisms of our members and embody our commitment to mutual enrichment.

One of the distinctive gifts of CSN membership is the opportunity both to receive and to offer. Our Community Offerings page showcases programmes led by CSN-accredited practitioners—opportunities for spiritual enrichment that emerge from the lived experience and creativity of our members.

    These offerings include:

    • Lectio Divina Sessions — Prayerful engagement with Scripture in the contemplative tradition
    • Book Clubs & Reading Circles — Exploring classic and contemporary spiritual texts together
    • Bible Study Groups — Deepening understanding of God’s Word in community
    • Prayer Groups — Shared contemplative practice and intercession
    • Reflection Sessions — Guided opportunities for personal and group discernment
    • Workshops & Mini-Retreats — Focused formation on specific aspects of spirituality and ministry

Each offering is facilitated by a CSN-accredited practitioner committed to our Covenant and Code of Ethics. Browse our current offerings below and find what speaks to your soul.
