CSN Spiritual Accompaniment Accreditation

For spirituality practitioners who accompany others, individuals or groups, in spiritual direction, retreat or reflection sessions

Criteria for Accreditation

To qualify for CSN Spiritual Accompaniment Accreditation, applicants must:

Training: Complete a minimum of 300 hours of Spiritual Direction-specific training from reputable providers. Includes: direct teaching, supervised sessions, self-study,
reflective practice, course assignments, and relevant CPD hours.

Experience: Certified Spiritual Director with minimum 40 hours of direct experience with at least 3 different directees.

Ongoing Support and Formation: Receive support (peer, supervisor, mentor) or engage in continued training / formation involving personal support while practicing.

Competence: Demonstrate ministerial competence aligning with CSN Core Competencies.

Commitment to Standards: Comply with CSN Policy and agree to the CSN Code of Ethics.
