CSN Ministry Companion Accreditation

Criteria for Accreditation

To qualify for CSN Ministry Companion Accreditation, applicants must:

Specialized Training: Complete ≥50 hours of ministry companionship (a.k.a pastoral supervision) – specific training from reputable providers.
Includes: Direct teaching, accompaniment practice, self-study, reflective practice, course assignments, and relevant CPD.

Certified Experience: Hold certification as a pastoral supervisor with ≥20 hours of practice across ≥3 distinct supervisees.

Ongoing Formation: Maintain regular support (peer group, supervisor, or mentor) while actively practicing to deepen reflective capacity.

Demonstrated Competence: Exhibit alignment with CSN Core Competencies for ministry companionship.

Commitment to Standards: Adhere to the CSN Policy and CSN Code of Ethics.
